Flu Epidemic!

Hello everyone!

So, there has been a ton of people getting sick around here, and it turns out that Elder Ure and I weren't one of the lucky ones to stay illness-free. We both got the flu around the middle of the week last week, and we were cooped up inside our apartment for a couple of days to get over it as soon as we could. It felt really good to go outside after being quarantined for a couple of days!

(Elder Nielsen didn't mention that he spent his 19th birthday sick in bed. :( We're glad he's feeling better!)

We have had to drop a couple of our investigators of the past couple of weeks, so we are doing all we can to find new investigators right now. One of the things that makes it tough is that our ward isn't providing us with many referrals. However, someone told us, "If the ward gives you a referral, consider it a miracle! Don't depend on them for your teaching pool." We are trying our best to show the ward that we are working hard to bring people to church, so hopefully we are able to help the ward grow more missionary-minded!

There isn't a whole lot this week, since we only saw the inside of our apartment for half the week. We are looking forward to a miracle filled week this time around, though!

I love you all, and I hope you have an awesome week!

Love,
Elder Nielsen
